Alana Marie Interiors

Alana Marie

Alana Marie discovered her love for Architecture and Interior Design when traveling through Europe after graduating high school. After returning to the states, she studied Architecture for 2 years, then switched her major to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California, Los Angeles.

Alana then started working with the world-renowned Kelly Wearstler as a designer on her team. She designed and opened multiple hospitality projects with Wearstler including Hollywood Proper Residence, Filifera, and Austin Proper. After 4+ years there, Alana moved on to become a Senior Designer with well-known and admired East Coast designer Kara Mann. Alana worked with Kara Mann for almost a year as a Senior Hospitality Designer before venturing out on her own.

Alana Marie now works on independent residential projects. With her strong hospitality background, but love for residential, Alana has a unique take on designing interior spaces. Her aesthetic is not specific to a style or era (because why limit yourself), rather a marriage of designs that complement one another, accentuate the surroundings, and make people feel something!

Our Team

Rehab Patail

Senior Designer

If you asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, 5-year-old Rehab would enthusiastically tell you she wanted to paint houses. After years of absorbing design through every medium imaginable, she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design to make that goal a reality. Real world experience made her quickly realize she naturally gravitated towards architecture over furniture. Over the course of a decade long career as an interior architect with an extremely detail oriented perspective, Rehab has split her time across a variety of luxury studios like Trip Haenisch, KNA Design, Kelly Wearstler, and Kara Mann. This has allowed her to successfully open and install multiple hotels and homes globally, including Proper Austin, Disney Explorers Lodge, and a historic pied-a-terre at The Plaza. When she’s not drawing details of inset mirrors and redlining RCPs , she’s mapping out road trips across the US and making plans for her future farm in Montana.

Adriana Cernan

Designer

Adriana has been drawn to architecture and design from an early age. After graduating high school, she moved to New York City where she pursued a long career in the fashion industry. This journey enabled her to meet interesting people, create meaningful connections, and travel around the world finding endless inspiration. Adriana’s passion for design did not stop there, so she decided to enroll in New York School of Interior Design in 2016. A few years later she took an opportunity to move to Los Angeles, continuing her studies in a two-year program at Los Angeles Institute of Architecture and Design. Shortly after, she started interning and later was hired as a Design Assistant for Adam Hunter. After working there for 2 years and gaining experience in a studio setting, she branched out, finding her place as a Designer at Alana Marie Interiors, creating beautiful spaces for our clients.

Rebeka DiPalma

Procurement Manager

Raised in South Florida, Rebeka went to work with her father, a residential GC, every summer. She would hop into the crawl spaces to do the odd jobs he was too big to fit into. Later, developing a love for everything maritime, Rebeka joined the Navy after high school. Following 9/11 her career as a Military Police Officer became anti-terrorism focused, a rewarding experience that led to a job with the DoD as a Criminal Investigator in DC. After more than a decade of fighting crime, Rebeka decided to use her military benefits towards a Bachelor’s in Interior Design. An internship with Ryder Design + Architecture turned into her first design job. Soon after, a short-term contractor position with Kelly Wearstler presented itself. All the while Rebeka was realizing her niche was not in design itself; rather that her happiness lies in number crunching, budget making, and FF&E purchasing. A procurement position with Studio UNLTD became home for the next 6 years. Rebeka transitioned to the career of motherhood when she welcomed her first child in summer of 2021. As a remote team-member with Alana Marie Interiors, Rebeka is able to combine her two great loves: being a mom and Interior Design Procurement.
